Nka and Mike’s Wedding happened to be my first wedding in the beautiful city of Port Harcourt. Eleme to be precise, a small beautiful and mighty town with the weirdest traffic you can ever imagine. If you’d think Lagos is bad with traffic, try this town. But anything for my couple . I absolutely love the Eleme’s culture, their tradition and watching the bride changed four times into different colorful attires befitting for a royal princess that she is. I’ve witnessed other cultures bearing gifts for the bride, in Eleme, it’s the other way round. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to capture Nka and Mike’s amazing days of joy.
Here are some image from their traditional wedding. Ahem, long post alert
The Maiden just before her husband came for her hands
I totally love this color on her
And then people must fight for the remaining food. Weird but fun
Whew! I just don’t know when to stop telling the beautiful story I hope you like the images as much as I enjoyed shooting them. Be sure to leave them some love too. I always love it when you do you know Thank you
